2026 Severe Weather Preparedness Week Proclamation
March 2-6, 2026
The National Weather Service, in conjunction with the State of Kansas and local jurisdictions, will be conducting a statewide tornado drill on Wednesday, March 4th at 10:00AM and the purpose of Severe Weather Preparedness Week is to heighten the public's understanding of the dangers associated with severe weather and tornadoes.
